Are You A Scuba Diver?

Puerto Rico - Dive in Paradise
Diving with Dolphins in Puerto RicoHave you learned to dive already? And have you got an Open Water scuba diving certification? That's great! Then there is no reason for you not to go and explore the fantastic underwater world of Puerto Rico. PR offers you the best diving in the Caribbean with walls to explore and dolphins to dive with. Puerto Rico is one of the best kept secrets of the Caribbean. Large white sandy beaches invite for a swim and colorful coral reefs are waiting for snorkelers. But the very best of all is scuba diving!

Expand Your Horizon
Once you have undergone your basic dive training, you are certified to dive to 18 meters. Now that's not very deep and the big fish tend to be a bit deeper than that so you won't be able to see them from close by. Now this can be changed quickly by participating in a two to three day PADI Advanced Open Water Course. And it doesn't even take the whole day so you can still find the time to enjoy your Puerto Rico Vacation in full.

PADI Advanced Open Water Scuba Diving Lessons
Puerto Rico Diving in ParadiseThe PADI Advanced Open Water Course is based on the idea to give the diver a chance to select dives according to his interests or explore new possibilities under water. Discover different plants and creatures, conquer new tasks and experience new underwater adventures. The goal of the Advanced Course (AOWD) is to make you fee more confident under water so you can have more fun!

Getting Certified as AOWD
The structure of the PADI AOWD course is different from the open water diving lessons. Two of the 5 lessons you will participate in, are mandatory, the Navigation course and the Deep Dive course. Then there are three more lessons each involving one dive and a theoretical part, you can choose of. You can find out more details about the PADI Advanced Open Water Scuba Diving Lessons at East Puerto Rico Diving in Palmas del Mar.

Diving packages have become more popular in Puerto Rico during the past few years. Scuba Diving Packages include accommodation and scuba diving lessons and/or dive tours. Diving Packages range from weekend dive trip to a whole two week scuba diving holiday all included.

Puerto Rico offers many diving packages in different sizes and at many locations in PR. One of the nicest scuba diving packages we found, can be booked once again in Palmas del Mar, at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel , in Palmas del Mar, directly on the beach. Stay in a high class hotel near the water, and enjoy all the amenities of Palmas del Mar. You can go swimming on the beach right outside and enjoy a diving tour with East Puerto Rico Diving.

The friendly service at EPD is well known by now. East Puerto Rico Diving started their dive center two years ago at the Palmas del Mar Yacht Club.
